Sam is a Senior Manager in the Strategy Group based in the McLean office. Since joining Capital One in 2012, Sam has led the team drafting the company’s strategic plan, helped the CEO to develop the retail bank’s long term strategy, investigated the role of technology in financial services, and worked with the home loans business to build a product suite appealing to affluent borrowers. He also spent five months in the legal department implementing the Dodd–Frank Act.
Sam graduated from Brown University in 2012 with a BA in Political Science. He was editor of The Brown Journal of World Affairs, on the editorial board of The Brown Daily Herald, and won an intramural football championship.
Sam lives in DC and, in his spare time, enjoys backpacking, swimming with his dog, Hobbes, and cooking.
