Manager | McLean | Duke

JD is a Manager in the Strategy Group based in the McLean office. He spent his first year at Capital One on the Customer Resiliency team, where he worked on “Build-a-Plan,” part of the larger collections digital transformation allowing customers to design their own payment plans. In his second year, JD joined the Yield Management team, where he worked on several projects, including our largest backbook Change-in-Terms to date. Since joining Strategy in the fall of 2018, JD has supported a variety of projects across Small Business, International Card, Walmart, and Commercial.

JD graduated from Duke in 2016, where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. While at Duke, he played club soccer, worked for the football team, and ran operations for a startup.

Outside of work, JD enjoys staying active by participating in rec soccer and basketball leagues, and golfing whenever he can grab a ride from a friend.
